Privacy violation allegations are false: WhatsApp
WhatsApp's parent company Meta has denied the privacy violation allegations. 'Your messages remain private. We encrypt (hide) them with the open source Signal Protocol. Messages are encrypted before they leave your device. Only the person you send them to can read them. WhatsApp and Meta cannot access them.' Meanwhile, Meta responded to a lawsuit filed in the US that it can read messages.
