Recording of deaths in road accident cases within 21 days
Amaravati: The Health Department has clarified that the process of recording details of the deceased in cases involving road accidents and medico-legal deaths must be completed within 21 days. Health Secretary Veerapandian has issued directives to officials across all districts to this effect. It was noted that details regarding deaths resulting from road accidents and other medico-legal cases are not reaching the concerned registrars of births and deaths in a timely manner; it was made clear that this must not happen in the future.
