Remove Deepfakes of Gadkari Immediately
Mumbai: The Bombay High Court on Wednesday ordered Meta, X Corp, and Google LLC to immediately remove obscene, derogatory, and defamatory deepfake posts concerning Union Road Transport Minister Gadkari that were circulating on social media. A bench led by Justice Arif Doctor issued these interim orders while hearing a civil defamation suit filed by Gadkari.
