'South' Bowlers on Fire
Bengaluru: South Zone gained the upper hand against North Zone in the Duleep Trophy semi-final, thanks to a fiery spell by pacer Vidwath Kaverappa (4/66). In the match that began on Sunday, North Zone collapsed for just 195 runs in their first innings; Tanay Thyagarajan and Nidish claimed two wickets each. Subsequently, South Zone reached a score of 40/2. Kamboj dismissed Ricky Bhui (5), while Gurnoor sent one-down batter Shaik Rasheed (0) back for a duck. South Zone is still 155 runs behind North Zone's score.
