Supreme Court takes serious note of pellet gun use during NEET paper leak protests
It is well known that allegations arose regarding the use of pellet guns against students during protests in Delhi over the NEET paper leak. The Supreme Court heard the matter today (Thursday). Viewing the issue with great seriousness, the Chief Justice's bench opined that there is a need to formulate a clear protocol regarding the procedures security forces must follow while controlling protests. Heated arguments took place during the hearing of this case regarding allegations that metallic pellets were used against students.
