Thieves on the Rampage: ATM Stolen After Smashing Glass Panes
Anantapur: The theft of an entire ATM machine in the district has caused a major sensation. The incident occurred in Bukkarayasamudram. In the early hours of Wednesday, miscreants smashed the glass panes of the room housing an SBI ATM in Bukkarayasamudram using iron rods. They subsequently made off with the ATM machine and its batteries. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene and inspected the area. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway. Police stated that the stolen ATM was found discarded near Akulodu.
