UDHA chairmen's term extended to two years
Andhra Pradesh: The government has issued orders increasing the tenure of the chairmen of Urban Development Authorities (UDA) in the state to two years. It has been stated that this will be applicable from the date of appointment. In 2024, 12 chairmen have been appointed for the authorities and 3 this year. According to the UDA Rules decided in 2018, the tenure of the chairmen and members is only one year. With the latest amendment GO increasing it to another 2 years, the chairmen will continue for some more time.
