Violent protest in POJK: 3 killed in clash with security forces, dozens injured
Muzaffarabad: A big news has come out from Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir (POJK). Violent protest and complete shutdown caused ruckus here and 3 people were killed in clashes with security forces. During this time, more than a dozen people were injured.
Let it be known that because of the government's failure to meet the demands raised by the Joint Awami Action Committee, there is anger among the public.
JK Action Committee president surrounded the government
Amidst the violence, JK Action Committee President Shaukat Nawaz Mir gave a speech from Muzaffarabad and directly accused government agencies of targeting the protesters. He said, "At this time, the government has come down to kill people. State institutions, state government, state administration, goons, terrorists, we have evidence. The police is with us."
He alleged, "अर्या में लोग में राजा है है है अवर हमारा pakistani media फ़ोटी खाबरेन रहा है है. महोडाय, सब कुच है है है है है."
Why did the crowd of protesters gather?
Bandhs and rallies were held in Mirpur, Kotli and Muzaffarabad, where a large number of people gathered to demand their rights. The protesters accused the authorities of ignoring their demands for justice and the demonstration became one of the most intense waves of public anger in recent years.
A unit of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in PoJK promoted online protests and issued statements accusing the Anwar-led government of "incompetence and repression" amid widespread unrest in several areas.
PTI claimed, "A video has emerged of Muslim (Criminal) Conference goons firing directly at peaceful protesters under the protection of the state, in which four people have been seriously injured. The party also alleged that the protests were government-sponsored."
PTI said, "The administration has blocked the Plak Bridge, causing severe hardship to patients and citizens traveling abroad. It is significant that during the lockdown in the state, it was announced that the roads would remain open for patients and those traveling abroad. However, this incompetent Anwar government has increased the hardships of patients."
