We will hear the petition only if Vijay Mallya returns to India: High Court
The Bombay High Court has made key comments on the petition filed by Vijay Mallya challenging the declaration of him as a fugitive economic offender. He must return to India to be heard. ‘Persons who intentionally fail to appear in court cannot seek relief. We are giving another chance instead of dismissing this petition. He should file an affidavit stating whether he will appear or not,’ it said, and adjourned it to February 18.
