2,800 Industries... 50 Applications
Hyderabad: The 'HILT' policy—which has become a focal point of various controversies and heated exchanges between the ruling and opposition parties—has received a negligible number of applications. While there are 2,800 industries across the 22 industrial estates covered by the HILT policy, only 50 applications have been received. The state government had launched the ambitious Hyderabad Industrial Land Transformation Policy (HILT-P) with the aim of relocating industrial estates established decades ago within Hyderabad city to areas outside the Outer Ring Road.
