Bank Employees' Strike on the 11th
New Delhi: Bank employees are gearing up for another strike. The United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU), representing seven banking employee unions, has announced a nationwide strike on the 11th of this month to press for key demands, including a five-day work week. It is feared that banking operations across the country could come to a halt for nearly four days if the government does not intervene immediately to avert the strike.
