Does Being Fit Mean Being Healthy?
Many people assume that being physically fit is synonymous with being healthy. However, the two are distinct concepts. Health depends on how our internal organs function. One is considered healthy if they get adequate sleep, consume a balanced diet, and experience low levels of stress. Fitness, on the other hand, refers to physical capability; activities such as lifting weights or sprinting are indicators of fitness. For instance, a bodybuilder may appear extremely fit on the outside but may not necessarily be healthy internally.
