DSC Winner Swims Across Lake Bodensee
A Telugu para-swimmer has achieved a rare feat on the international stage. Balaga Ganesh—a para-swimmer and swimming coach from Eluru, Eluru district—set a new world record by swimming a distance of 12 kilometers across the famous Lake Bodensee in just 5 hours, 14 minutes, and 13 seconds. He revealed on Tuesday that this record was set on the 12th of this month at Lake Constance (Bodensee), which stretches from Friedrichshafen in Germany to Romanshorn in Switzerland.
