Good News: Two More High-Speed Rail Corridors to Pass Through the State
Andhra Pradesh: Two high-speed rail corridors, to be constructed by the Central Government in the southern region, are set to pass through the state. The Hyderabad-Chennai corridor will run via Amaravati, Guntur, Chirala, Nellore, Naidupeta, and Sri City; meanwhile, the Mysore-Chennai corridor will be established via Naidupeta, Tirupati, Chittoor, Bangarapet, Bengaluru, and Mandya. Initially, the Central Government had included Amaravati only in the Hyderabad-Chennai corridor.
