The Central Government has accelerated the distribution of 5 kg 'FTL' (Free Trade LPG) cylinders for migrant workers and students residing in cities and towns. It is actively publicizing the fact that these cylinders can be obtained even without providing proof of address. The government stated that one simply needs to visit an authorized gas dealer and present any valid ID card to procure one. It further clarified that, since March 23, a total of 6.6 lakh cylinders have been delivered across the country.
