Following the incident, the Narpoli police sent the body to the Bhiwandi Sub-District Hospital for a post-mortem and have initiated an investigation. Locals have demanded the immediate filling of the dangerous potholes on the road and compensation for the victim's family. **Orange alert for rain issued in Mumbai** The Meteorological Department has issued an 'Orange Alert' for rain in Mumbai. Heavy rainfall is expected in the city over the next few hours. According to the IMD, heavy rain accompanied by strong winds blowing at speeds of 30-40 km/h is likely in some areas. Alerts for heavy rain have been issued for Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, and the Ghat areas of Pune. People have been urged to remain cautious. A scooter skidded on a wet road, and a young woman was run over by a road roller approaching from behind. She died on the spot. However, her two friends survived, sustaining only minor injuries.
