India Emerges as Petrol Supplier to Russia
Russia, one of the world's largest oil producers, is now relying on India for petrol. Domestic petrol production has dropped by up to 70% due to Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian oil refineries, forcing Moscow to import petrol from abroad. In this context, India has emerged as a key supplier through Nayara Energy (Vadinar Refinery) in Gujarat.
