Oceans Boiling Due to El Niño
London: Oceans across the globe are warming to unprecedented levels. According to data from the European Copernicus Climate Change Service, the average global sea surface temperature (excluding polar regions) was recorded at 21.09 degrees Celsius in March 2024; however, that record was broken in July of this year, with average sea surface temperatures reaching 21.1 degrees. Although the difference may seem slight, the timing of these recorded temperatures is a cause for concern.
