Sitarama project water—as soon as possible!
Hyderabad: Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy and Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao announced that efforts are underway to resolve all pending issues regarding the Sitarama and Seethamma Sagar projects through coordinated action, aiming to provide irrigation benefits to farmers in Khammam and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts as quickly as possible. They stated that they would maintain continuous consultations with the Central Government to expedite the receipt of environmental clearances for the Seethamma Sagar Multipurpose Project. Gold prices have risen slightly.
