Special TET for Teachers
Amaravati: The School Education Department has issued orders permitting the conduct of a special Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for in-service teachers. Teachers appointed prior to 2011 are eligible to appear for this special TET. The examination is likely to be held in December of this year or early next year. Meanwhile, 74,000 in-service teachers had recently applied for the general TET notification.
