Teachers Seek Exemption from Non-Teaching Duties
Vijayawada Teachers have appealed to the State Government to grant them the opportunity to focus on instructing students and to relieve them from the burden of non-teaching duties. Under the aegis of the Federation of Andhra Pradesh Teachers' Organizations (FAPTO), a three-day relay hunger strike commenced on Saturday at Dharna Chowk in Vijayawada. The protest aims to press for the fulfillment of various demands, including the realization of common service rules, implementation of the 12th PRC, interim relief, compassionate appointments, abolition of the CPS, implementation of Memo 57, and the clearance of pending arrears.
