Telangana: As DGP Jitender is set to retire at the end of this month, it is reported that Shivdhar Reddy and CP Anand are in the race to replace him. Shivdhar Reddy is currently the Intelligence Chief, while Anand continues to be the Hyderabad CP. However, there is a discussion in the department that the government will lean towards Shivdhar, who is set to retire in another 7 months. If that happens, it seems that Anand is likely to be appointed as the Vigilance and ACB Chief.
