Trump in China
U.S. President Donald Trump commenced his visit to China on Wednesday. Upon landing at the Beijing airport, he was personally welcomed by Chinese Vice President Han Zheng. Analysts believe that, through this gesture, China has signaled the immense importance it attaches to Trump's visit. Typically, whenever foreign leaders—including Putin—visit China, they are welcomed at the airport by high-ranking representatives of the respective provinces. It is noteworthy that, in Trump's case, China chose to set this tradition aside.
