What Color Attire Should Be Worn During Prayer?
During prayer, it is beneficial to wear clothes in "Sattvic" colors—hues that help keep the mind calm and serene. Yellow, which radiates positivity, is particularly pleasing to Lord Vishnu. White symbolizes purity and peace. For the worship of Lord Shiva, white is the ideal choice; for the worship of Goddess Shakti, wearing red or pink is recommended. Yellow and white are the best colors to wear for morning prayers. However, black is strictly prohibited, with the sole exception being during the worship of Lord Shani (Saturn). It is also advisable to avoid wearing dark blue colors. Priority should always be given to clean, freshly washed cotton garments.
