Withdraw the 22-A List
Jeedimetla: BRS leader Harish Rao warned that the state government must immediately withdraw the prohibited lists regarding lands arbitrarily included under the '22-A' category; otherwise, they would organize a 'Chalo Assembly' protest with thousands of affected individuals on September 7 and bring Hyderabad to a standstill. He alleged that the Congress government, which previously portrayed the 'Dharani' portal as a monster, has now transformed 'Bhu-Bharathi' into 'Bhu-Metha' (a burden on the land). A special meeting addressing the grievances of those affected by the 22-A classification in the constituency was held on Tuesday at Shapurnagar, presided over by Quthbullapur MLA KP Vivekananda.
