Indian cyclist Harshita makes history
Harshita Jakhar created history by becoming the first Indian cyclist to participate in the prestigious 'Tour de France Femmes'. The women's event takes place annually in July or August, following the men's tournament. Harshita, a 19-year-old from Rajasthan, participated as part of an eight-member team comprising cyclists from Afghanistan, Algeria, Chile, Ethiopia, Namibia, and Uganda.
