Tesla restricts employee spending on AI tools
Washington: Tesla has issued a directive to its employees limiting weekly expenditure on AI tools to a maximum of $200 (approximately ₹19,000). This policy came into effect on Monday. The move appears to be aimed at curbing rising costs associated with AI. Meanwhile, Microsoft—which is increasing its investments in the AI sector—has decided to lay off 4,800 of its employees.
